I work with fellow artists to make portraits that reflect the Artist, her/their work and the environment. The portraits could either be Formal Headshots (plain background), at Work/ Candid/Environmental Portraits (against the backdrop of their works/in the studio) or Conceptual Portraits (where I work with the Artist to bring alive a certain idea/concept). Being an artist myself, I have the advantage of understanding the creative process and this helps me while implementing creative ideas about the Artist portrait.
The Artist Portrait sessions offered by me are of the following types:
(i) Formal Portrait/Headshot session - 30 mins session that allows for a relaxed formal headshot against a plain background (white/grey/black).
(ii) Creative Flow/Candid Portrait/Environmental Portrait session - 1 hour session to capture your various states of ‘creative flow’ in the comfort of your studio, with your artwork/in the process of creating in the studio.
(iii) Conceptual Portrait session - 1 hour session to give effect to an idea/concept that you have about your Portrait. Also, includes a brainstorming session about the look and feel of your portraits + clothes consultation.
